Type specimen: MSNM V783 (Museo di Storia Naturale di Milano, a skeleton (complete skeleton). Its type locality is en Nammoûra, upper quarry (unit 3b), which is in a Cenomanian/Cenomanian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal wackestone in Lebanon.

Distribution: found only at en Nammoûra, upper quarry (unit 3b)
