Type specimen: MPG 31343, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Heiligkreuz amber, Cortina, which is in a Carnian terrestrial amber in the Heiligkreuz Formation of Italy.

Distribution: found only at Heiligkreuz amber, Cortina
