Type specimens:
- Eomylus zhigdenensis: PSS 20-139, a maxilla. Its type locality is Tsagan Khushu Quarry 3, which is in a Paleocene terrestrial claystone in the Naran Bulak Formation of Mongolia.
- Khaychina elongata: PSS 30-3, a mandible. Its type locality is Khaychin I, which is in a Paleocene terrestrial sandstone/claystone in the Khaychin Formation of Mongolia.
