Type specimen: IVPP V14128, a maxilla (Fragmentary right maxilla with P4 and M1). Its type locality is Bayan Ulan site (level 5), which is in a Paleocene terrestrial mudstone in the Nomogen Formation of China.
Ecology: scansorial insectivore
Distribution: found only at Bayan Ulan site (level 5)
