Type specimen: IVPP V18586/1-2, a skeleton (An articulated partial skeleton preserved in a slab (IVPP V18586/1) (Fig. 2) and counter slab (IVPP V18586/2) (Fig. 3) with feather impressions covering the bod). Its type locality is Luojumei Village, Chuxiong City, which is in a Turonian/Santonian lacustrine - large mudstone in the Jiangdihe Formation of China.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution: found only at Luojumei Village, Chuxiong City
