Type specimen: NMS G.1950.56.2, a partial skull. Its type locality is Venturefair Pit, Gilmerton, which is in a Brigantian fluvial-lacustrine shale/limestone in the Gilmerton Ironstone Formation of the United Kingdom.

Ecology:

Distribution: found only at Venturefair Pit, Gilmerton
