Type specimen: YPM 4227, a tooth (Slightly worn postcanine tooth). Its type locality is Apache Canyon, NMMNH L-485, which is in a Norian crevasse splay conglomerate in the Redonda Formation of New Mexico.

Distribution: found only at Apache Canyon, NMMNH L-485
