Type specimen: RE A 4872/1 and RE A 4872/2, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is HPCF II quarry (geslinianum zone), which is in a Cenomanian marine limestone in the Hesseltal Formation of Germany.
Ecology: nektonic carnivore
Distribution: found only at HPCF II quarry (geslinianum zone)
