Type specimen: INAH 2544 P.F.17, a skeleton. Its type locality is Vallecillo quarry (Museo La Milarca collection), which is in a Turonian offshore limestone in the Agua Nueva Formation of Mexico.
Ecology: nektonic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Vallecillo quarry (Museo La Milarca collection)
