Type specimen: UCMP 37689, a set of vertebrae (Partial dorsal vertebra). Its type locality is Arroyo Lameador, north of the Manaure-La Paz road, which is in a Toarcian/Aalenian floodplain sandstone in the La Quinta Formation of Colombia.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution: found only at Arroyo Lameador, north of the Manaure-La Paz road
