Type specimen: CM 1220, a skull (skull and por- tions of both mandibular rami). Its type locality is Monroe Creek (Type), which is in a Monroecreekian terrestrial horizon in the Monroe Creek Formation of Nebraska.
Ecology: amphibious browser
Distribution: found only at Monroe Creek (Type)
