Type specimen: PMOL-AM00036, a mandible (A partial right dentary preserved with ultimate premolar and five molars plus tooth loci of other lower premolars, canine and incisors, as represented by tooth ). Its type locality is Duanjiagou, Xidayingzi Village, which is in a Barremian/Aptian terrestrial mudstone/tuff in the Yixian Formation of China.

Ecology: scansorial insectivore

Distribution: found only at Duanjiagou, Xidayingzi Village
