Type specimen: ZMNH M1330, a skull. Its type locality is Aolicun, Yandang Mountain, which is in a Campanian lacustrine tuff in the Tangshang Formation of China.
Ecology: volant piscivore
Distribution: found only at Aolicun, Yandang Mountain
