Type specimen: UALVP 43134, a mandible (incomplete left dentary with p2-p4, m1-m3). Its type locality is Crestomere School, which is in a Tiffanian terrestrial siltstone in the Paskapoo Formation of Canada.
Ecology: semifossorial insectivore-carnivore
Distribution:
• Paleocene of Canada (3: Alberta, Saskatchewan collections)
Total: 3 collections each including a single occurrence
