Type specimen: CGM 26901, a mandible (left mandibular ramus with P4-M2; partial alveoli of C, P3 and M3 and symphysis). Its type locality is Quarry I (Jebel Qatrani Formation), which is in a Rupelian fluvial sandstone/mudstone in the Jebel Qatrani Formation of Egypt.

Ecology: arboreal omnivore
