Type specimen: HMN MB.R.2455 [G 70], a set of vertebrae. Its type locality is Tendaguru Quarry G, which is in a Tithonian estuary/bay marl in the Tendaguru Formation of Tanzania.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution: found only at Tendaguru Quarry G
