Type specimen: PVL 4690, a set of limb elements (left tarsometatarsus, metatarsal I with proximal and distal phalanges of digit I,and four intermediate phalanges). Its type locality is Estancia "El Brete" (PVL), which is in a Maastrichtian fluvial-lacustrine sandstone in the Lecho Formation of Argentina.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
Distribution: found only at Estancia "El Brete" (PVL)
