Type specimen: Holotype USNM 424901. Its type locality is Asteroidea, Wolf Mountain shale, Lake Bridgeport, Wise County, which is in a Missourian marginal marine shale in the Wolf Mountain Shale Formation of Texas.

Ecology: slow-moving low-level epifaunal carnivore

Distribution: found only at Asteroidea, Wolf Mountain shale, Lake Bridgeport, Wise County
