Sister taxa: Triendoceras montrealense, Triendoceras orthoseptatum
Type specimen: MU 410T, a shell. Its type locality is Orphanage Road, Fort Mitchell, which is in an Edenian deep subtidal shelf claystone in the Kope Formation of Kentucky.
Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore
Distribution:
• Ordovician of United States (3: Kentucky, Ohio collections)
Total: 3 collections each including a single occurrence
