Type specimen: GIN 3593/26, a shell. Its type locality is M423/13, Kotui River & Kugda River Mouth, 3 km south of Kotuikan River Mouth, which is in a Tommotian carbonate limestone in the Medvezhyn Formation of the Russian Federation.
