Type specimen: GIN 3593/93, a shell. Its type locality is M321/31, Zrueachaka (Rassokha, Eriechka) River near Nemakit-Daldyn River Mouth, which is in a Tommotian carbonate limestone in the Pestrotsvet Formation of the Russian Federation.
Ecology: slow-moving low-level epifaunal detritivore
