Sister taxon: Telmabates antiquus

Type specimen: A.M.N.H. No. 3189, a limb element (distal end of right tibiotarsus). Its type locality is Cañadon Hondo, Bird Clay locality, which is in a Casamayoran lacustrine claystone/tuff in the Sarmiento Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: volant herbivore

Distribution: found only at Cañadon Hondo, Bird Clay locality
