Type specimen: PRI 29313, a shell. Its type locality is Rio Pirabas (Maury coll.), which is in a Miocene shallow subtidal limestone/limestone in the Pirabas Formation of Brazil.

• Miocene of Brazil (4), the Dominican Republic (11)
