Type specimen: LACM 151454, a mandible (partial left dentary with m1-2). Its type locality is Massacre Lake RV-7043, which is in a Hemingfordian terrestrial horizon in Nevada.

Ecology: fossorial herbivore

Distribution: found only at Massacre Lake RV-7043
