Belongs to Trischizolagus according to Z. Qiu and G. Storch 2000
Sister taxa: Trischizolagus dumitrescuae, Trischizolagus maritsae
Type specimen: IVPP V11937, a tooth (p3 inf. sin.). Its type locality is Bilike, which is in a Pliocene lacustrine horizon in China.
Ecology: ground dwelling grazer-browser
Distribution:

• MN 13 of China (2)
