Type specimen: CeV-3001, a mandible (dext. with i2-m3). Its type locality is Geiseltal, Cl V, Grube "Cecilie", Trichter Nord, which is in an Eocene lacustrine horizon in Germany.

Ecology: scansorial insectivore

Distribution: found only at Geiseltal, Cl V, Grube "Cecilie", Trichter Nord
