Type specimen: NHMW 2006z0055/0001, a maxilla (dext. with M1-M3). Its type locality is Tatal Gol, section TAT-D, layer 1, which is in an Oligocene terrestrial mudstone in the Hsanda Gol Formation of Mongolia.
