Type specimen: IVPP V 13915, a skeleton (virtually complete skeleton with preserved soft body outline). Its type locality is Shanwang Bed sw4, Linchu district, Shantung province, which is in a Burdigalian lacustrine conglomerate/mudstone in the Shanwang Formation of China.
Ecology: ground dwelling omnivore
Distribution: found only at Shanwang Bed sw4, Linchu district, Shantung province
