Type specimen: PI-IANIGLA No 925 Vi42, a shell. Its type locality is Don Braulio section, Sierra de Villicúm, which is in a Darriwilian open shallow subtidal lime mudstone/limestone in the San Juan Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: nektonic carnivore

Distribution: found only at Don Braulio section, Sierra de Villicúm
