Type specimen: University of Florida no. 4500, a limb element (proximal half of right humerus). Its type locality is Thomas Farm, which is in a Hemingfordian terrestrial sandstone/claystone in the Alachua Formation of Florida.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution: found only at Thomas Farm
