Type specimen: AMNH 21714, a partial skull (Crushed palate and lower jaws). Its type locality is Gashato (AMNH), which is in a Paleocene terrestrial horizon in the Khashat Formation of Mongolia.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution:

• Paleocene of China (1 collection), Mongolia (1)
