Type specimen: CPPLIP no. 630, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Sierra do Veadinho, Uberaba, which is in a Maastrichtian fluvial-lacustrine sandstone/siltstone in the Serra da Galga Formation of Brazil.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution: found only at Sierra do Veadinho, Uberaba
