Type specimen: OCP DEK-GE 262, a skull. Its type locality is Quarry A4, Sidi Chennane, which is in a Thanetian marine phosphorite in the Couche II Formation of Morocco.

Distribution: found only at Quarry A4, Sidi Chennane
