Type specimen: University of Queensland F30894 (valves). Its type locality is Locality 46. UQL 311. Mount Datson, 50 kilometers east northeast of Boulia, which is in a Warendian carbonate limestone in the Ninmaroo Formation of Australia.
Ecology: facultatively mobile epifaunal grazer
Distribution:
• Ordovician of Australia (2 collections)
