Type specimen: SMNS 66000/271, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Crato (SMNS collection), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large carbonate in the Crato Formation of Brazil.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Crato (SMNS collection)
