Type specimen: Manitoba Museum I-4077, a carapace. Its type locality is Harrowby, which is in a Campanian/Campanian marine claystone in the Pierre Shale Formation of Canada.
Ecology: semi-infaunal carnivore
Distribution: found only at Harrowby
