Type specimen: UPRMP 2934, a carapace. Its type locality is Ponce Limestone Decapods, which is in a Miocene/Miocene reef, buildup or bioherm grainstone in the Ponce Limestone Formation of Puerto Rico.
Ecology: infaunal carnivore
Distribution: found only at Ponce Limestone Decapods
