Sister taxon: Shaanxispira chowi
Type specimen: IVPP V 13626, a partial skull (partial skull connected with mandible). Its type locality is Lantian Loc. 6, which is in a MN 10/MN 11 floodplain mudstone in the Bahe Formation of China.
Ecology: ground dwelling grazer-browser
Distribution:
• Miocene of China (2 collections)
Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
