Type specimen: IVPP V14377, a skeleton (almost complete articulated skeleton). Its type locality is Luzhougou, Yaolugou, which is in an Aptian terrestrial siliciclastic in the Jiufotang Formation of China.
Ecology: volant piscivore
Distribution: found only at Luzhougou, Yaolugou
