Type specimen: DINO 16453a, b, a partial skeleton (part and counterpart of a nearly complete skeleton preserved in three dimensions). Its type locality is DNM 96, Rainbow Park microsite, which is in a Tithonian terrestrial mudstone/mudstone in the Morrison Formation of Utah.

Ecology: amphibious carnivore

Distribution: found only at DNM 96, Rainbow Park microsite
