Sister taxa: Donrussellia gallica, Donrussellia provincialis
Type specimen: CEPUNL SV3-327, a tooth (m2 inf. sin.). Its type locality is Silveirinha clay pit, which is in an Eocene crevasse splay conglomerate/siliciclastic in the Silveirinha Formation of Portugal.
Ecology: arboreal omnivore
Distribution: found only at Silveirinha clay pit
