Type specimen: RC 15, a partial skull (Anterior two thirds of a skull). Its type locality is Wellwood (Dicynodon Assemblage Zone), which is in a Wuchiapingian/Changhsingian terrestrial siliciclastic in the Balfour Formation of South Africa.

Ecology:

Distribution: found only at Wellwood (Dicynodon Assemblage Zone)
