Type specimen: CGM 42211, a mandible (right mandible with P3-M3 and partial ascending ramus). Its type locality is Quarry L-41 (Jebel Qatrani Formation), which is in a Rupelian lacustrine mudstone in the Jebel Qatrani Formation of Egypt.
Ecology: arboreal insectivore-frugivore
Distribution: found only at Quarry L-41 (Jebel Qatrani Formation)
