Sister taxon: Porcellia (Porcellia) lingshuiensis

Type specimen: GSC 131995, a shell. Its type locality is Royal Creek Sec. 1, at 192-197 meters above basee, which is in a Pragian shallow subtidal carbonate/shale in the Road River Formation of Canada.

Ecology: slow-moving epifaunal detritivore

Distribution: found only at Royal Creek Sec. 1, at 192-197 meters above basee
