Type specimen: USNM 534461, a shell. Its type locality is 2004R-1, south side of logging road, Twin Mountains area, Prince Wales Island, which is in a Ludlow carbonate wackestone in the Heceta Limestone Formation of Alaska.

Ecology: facultatively mobile epifaunal suspension feeder

Distribution: found only at 2004R-1, south side of logging road, Twin Mountains area, Prince Wales Island
