Type specimen: MCZ 3150, a partial skeleton (articulated, partial vertebral column, pelvis and right hind limb plus disarticulated material including fragments of skull and jaw). Its type locality is El Cobre Canyon (Cutler Formation), which is in a Virgilian fluvial siliciclastic in the Cutler Formation of New Mexico.

Distribution: found only at El Cobre Canyon (Cutler Formation)
