Type specimen: MNN GAD1, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Gadoufaoua, G138, which is in an Aptian/Albian terrestrial horizon in the Elrhaz Formation of Niger.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
Distribution: found only at Gadoufaoua, G138
