Type specimen: GSWA F11247, a valve (Cast of ventral valve exterior). Its type locality is GSWA 94217 Mt. Sandiman, Kennedy Range, Billidee Formation, Carnarvon Basin, which is in an Artinskian coastal sandstone in the Billidee Formation of Australia.
