Type specimen: UWA 34309, a shell (Internal mould of shell and external mould of dorsal valve with ventral umbo and interarea). Its type locality is Glendevon Homestead, Woolaga Creek, Irwin River District, Perth Basin, which is in an Artinskian shoreface sandstone in the High Cliff Sandstone Formation of Australia.

Distribution: found only at Glendevon Homestead, Woolaga Creek, Irwin River District, Perth Basin
