Sister taxon: Sicelia merlai
Type specimen: USNM 473665, a shell (Articulated shell). Its type locality is USNM9262, Nisitsa, Hydra Island, which is in a Wuchiapingian marine packstone/wackestone in the Episkopi Formation of Greece.
Ecology: stationary low-level epifaunal suspension feeder
Distribution:
• Permian of Greece (4 collections)
Total: 4 collections each including a single occurrence
